Editorial policy
Purpose and independence
BookmakerStats is an informational directory. We aggregate and present structured, factual data about online bookmakers — for example licences, stated payment methods, languages, sports coverage, and comparable traffic statistics where available. We are not a gambling operator; we do not take bets, handle player funds, or offer customer support for any operator.
Pages are built to help readers compare verifiable attributes, not to substitute for reading an operator’s official terms, regulatory disclosures, or geo-specific rules. Where we use short editorial framing (for example hub introductions or on-page summaries), it is subordinate to the underlying data fields and should be read in that context.
Sourcing and verification
Unless a field is explicitly labelled as an estimate or third-party metric, site content is grounded in consistent, repeatable inputs: synchronised listings, operator-facing material, and normalised database fields. Numeric and categorical values can become outdated as operators change products, markets, or compliance posture.
We apply internal normalisation rules to keep presentation consistent — for example outbound “Visit” links are routed through our /go/ path and, where configured, redirected to an operator homepage-style URL pattern we maintain for clarity and stability. That process is technical housekeeping; it is not an endorsement that an operator accepts customers from any particular jurisdiction or that any offer applies to a given visitor.
For methodology on ordering and eligibility for directory or hub inclusion, see How we rank and list bookmakers.
Accuracy, updates, and limitations
Readers should assume that official operator sites and regulators outweigh any summary here. Licensing strings, payment rails, bonuses, odds formats, and market availability change frequently.
We publish sync timestamps relevant to factual imports where available (for example brand page “Last updated”). A recent timestamp reflects our pipeline run, not a line-by-line re-audit of every third-party assertion on every visit.
Traffic and reach figures, when shown, originate from upstream sources or estimates and can be materially wrong during migrations, rebrands, or multi-brand networks. Treat them as comparative context, not trading or investment signals.
No pay-for-placement in core listings
Default ranking and factual grids are driven by documented rules — primarily list position where applicable and deterministic filters on hubs/facets. We do not sell undisclosed boosts inside those factual tables.
If outbound commercial relationships (such as affiliation) are introduced in future on specific modules, we will label them clearly in the user interface and update this policy and our About page accordingly. Core stats blocks will remain governed by the methodology page unless we publish a documented change.
Outbound links and responsibility
Operator links leave our site. Third parties may log your visit, set cookies, and apply their own terms. We do not control geoblocking, KYC, or bonus eligibility. Use official channels for complaints, withdrawals, and dispute resolution.
Corrections
Factual errors matter. If you represent an operator or have primary documentation that contradicts a field, use the contact form with the brand name, field, and a link to an official source. We prioritise corrections that are specific, checkable, and tied to verifiable references.
Legality and age
Online gambling is restricted or prohibited in many jurisdictions. You are responsible for complying with local law. We do not target minors; if you are not of legal gambling age where you live, do not use operator links from this site.
Changes to this policy
We may update this page when our editorial process, data sources, or commercial posture changes. Material changes will be reflected here; the “last updated” note on the page reflects the static build that included the latest revision.
